CER Employment Law Symposium 2026

  • The Amora 11 Jamison Street Sydney, NSW, 2000 Australia (map)

Wearing every hat: Leadership in Employment Law – mastering multifunctional roles as an employer

Register your interest to attend this conference bringing together legal, HR and organisational leaders to explore the growing complexities of managing employees and workplace obligations in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment.

Under the theme of “many hats” leadership, the program will examine the diverse responsibilities leaders face in balancing compliance, risk, culture and performance across modern workplaces.

A key focus will be enterprise bargaining strategy and negotiation in practice, with sessions designed to help delegates take a proactive and forward-looking approach to agreement-making. Attendees will gain practical insights into building bargaining capability, strengthening negotiation positions and managing industrial and legal risks throughout the bargaining process.

The program will also explore broader employment law challenges, including psychosocial risk, adverse action claims, unfair dismissal frameworks and the increasing influence of technology in workplace decision-making.
